GIRL STRONG

A series of 8 workshops aimed to help 11 to 17 year old girls* on the autism spectrum identify and examine their emotions as well as provide them with practical strategies to deal with their anxiety.  Offered in partnership with Autism Atlantic Consultng (Kym Hume). Sponsored by the Nova Scotia Health Authority and the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness.

Winter/Spring 2019:

Part #1 of three 8-week sessions -- Part #2 (4 weeks) will be offered in April 2019)

Level 2: Windsor Elementary
January 9, 15, 22, 29  3:30pm to 5:30pm
Cost: $25 for 8 weeks

Level 2: Landmark East School, Wolfville
January 16, 23, 30, February 6  3:30pm to 5:30pm
Cost: $25 for 8 weeks

Level 2+: Pineridge Middle School, Kingston
January 10, 17, 24, 31  3:30pm to 5:30pm

*Participants must be screened and approved before registration.*
