IS YOUR SCHOOL REGISTERED?
We are proud to present "Toonies for Autism" on April 2nd in celebration of World Autism Day.
What is Toonies for Autism?
Toonies for Autism is a new innovative school fundraiser that focuses on raising funds to enhance educational resources for students with autism while enhancing autism programs and services in the community.
How does it work?
On April 2nd, students can bring in a toonie or donation of their choice in support of Toonies for Autism.
Where do the funds go?
Half of the funds raised by each registered school will remain at the school to be used to enhance resources for students with autism and other learning needs. The remainder of the funds will go to your local Autism Nova Scotia chapter to enhance programs and services within your region. All funds raised in communities across the province stays in those communities. Now that is something to celebrate!
How to find out if your school is registered?
Ask your local school if they are participating in this new and exciting fundraiser happening on April 2nd in honour of World Autism Day. If they aren’t, ask them to get involved!
Thank you for helping us build more inclusive communities together!
